2010 August 15

10 rounds for time:
2 squat snatches (95lb/65lb)
4 overhead squats
6 burpees with lateral jump over barbell

Scale movements as needed.  Squat snatches can be scaled to power snatches.

    15:43/45# for 2 rds then 33# for 8

    Not my best performance, but on the upside, I actually was able to do a true squat snatch with the 33# as opposed to a power snatch followed by an OHS. My shoulders & arms are still recovering from last week, the bar felt like 100# this morning!

    21 or 22 something with 45# (definitely not for the record books) :( Not a great day for me. Couldn’t take the heat. I didn’t pre-hydrate well. Lesson learned!

    10:58 Rx…the heat was not friendly to my dehydrated body…I’m sure the week of booze had nothing to do with it.
    Congrats to my friend visiting from OKC who puked near my car. :)

    19 something with 65# but finally got comfortable with the squat snatch and overhead squat thanks to the overhead squat lifting class last week.
