Great job to all the athletes who competed in the Garage Games over the weekend!   You all did and outstanding job representing CrossFit Integrity and Charleston in general, as did Lowcountry CrossFit in Mount Pleasant.  Congratulations to Chris Pace for finishing 3rd overall out of 55 competitors in the Advanced Mens Division!  Keep an eye out for more pictures.

“Helen”
3 rounds for time:
Run 400m
21 kettlebell swings (53lb/35lb)
12 pullups

    12:16 blue bands

I think it was last spring/summer, I visited the old building/gym with my husband and did Helen as my first WOD. I am pretty sure my time was better then, but I used both bands and hadn’t done DT 2 days prior! I felt Saturday’s WOD in every pullup.

Thanks for the push Coach Kevin, have a great vacation!

From America’s Playground aka Southwestern Oklahoma:

For time: 50 strict pull ups, 100 push ups (sorry no rings available) & 200 abmat sit ups: 16: 11
Then tabata of chin-ups and jump rope singles after.

Congrats to everyone who went to the Garage Games. Wish I could have been there to see them. Can’t wait to see the full results.

Thank you Libby for the help with the kipping. I was pretty convinced that I might be able to RX it doing the pull-ups one at a time- I was wrong. I got so frustrated after trying it in the first round that I switched to the band. Thanks for the encouragement Sara and Libby- I will have it, just not today.

Good morning, I’m a volunteer from the Garage and judged a few of you (and Low Country) this weekend and everyone did an amazing job. A lot of fun to watch, so thanks for coming out.

Also, as I was driving to work this morning, it’s 25 degrees, winds gusting to 30mph, and there’s snow in the air. Maybe y’all could hold a competition during hurricane season and make everyone run through a swamp during a driving hail storm. Fair is fair.
