1. In general, what is your background?
I grew up most of my life in Fredericksburg, Virginia (same hometown as Justin Smith – fellow crossfitter). Went to college at UNC Wilmington and ended up transferring to COFC and graduated from the with a BS in Exercise Science. I’ve always enjoyed working out, so after school I ended up starting a small personal training business. I like to travel, change peoples lives with fitness, work and play hard and have a good time with friends and family!

3. How did you get to know about CrossFit and why did you start?
I heard about crossfit about 3 years ago. I’m a big believer in high intensity type training, so when we were blessed with a crossfit gym I felt it was a perfect fit! Plus its constant continuing education!
4. How has CrossFit changed your life, lifestyle, level of fitness?
I’ve always lived a fitness type lifestyle but CrossFit definitely has inreased my level of fitness, and it keeps me wanting to push harder! Plus, after years of self creating “your” own workouts, it’s nice to sit back and have a new, sometimes unorthodox challenge thrown at you everyday!
