The 2018 CrossFit Games Open begins today! We will be viewing the first workout announcement at the gym today at 8:00pm! All are invited.

Open Workout Weekend Schedule
Thursday – Workout releases at 8pm
Friday through Monday – perform workout
Monday – Workout score submission by 8pm deadline

We will be performing the Open workouts every Friday during all group classes at the gym. Someone to judge/counter will be provided to you during classes on Friday’s.

You may also plan to complete the Open workout on Saturday or Sunday during Open Gym.  Please coordinate with another gym buddy who is also doing the Open, to come with you to be your judge/counter when doing the Open workout on Saturday and/or Sunday during Open Gym.

For Monday’s classes, there will be an option to complete the Open workout as well.  More info to come on the timeslots/schedule for Monday’s.

Open workout scores must be submitted to the CrossFit Games website by 8pm each Monday.

Instructions on how to REGISTER for The Open

 

Take approximately 30 minutes to practice a skill or two: (keep progressions and practice to 10-15 minutes)
-handstand holds/pushups
-double-unders
-pullups (kipping/butterfly)
-ring dips
-muscle-ups
-rope climbs
-etc

Recovery Row at 75%, 1500m

OR

Recovery Bike at 75%, 2.5 miles

Core Development:
8 minute alternating tabata
-abmat situps
-plank hold
