The gym will be closed on Saturday due to the Primal Games.  Registration is still open, or come out to support!

Complete two power cleans on the minute, every minute, for 20 minutes. Record the total amount of weight you clean during the 20 minutes.  CHALLENGE:   Can you clean 8000lb (males) and 5400 (females) in this workout?

We did this at the beginning of March – track back if you posted a your score.  Compare to 3/7/11.

Core Development:
12 minute alternating tabata:
-abmat situps
-abmat reverse crunch
-plank hold

    3710….. got up to 100lbs on last 2 rounds! (That was my goal) 🙂

    Bench press with Will…. up to 105lbs!

    Back squat…. 5 sets of 4 at 105lbs

    definitely better than the 6,480 I did last time (I didn’t get above 175#)

    3240. 8 at 65# then 32 at 85#. Def not my favorite exercise. Loved 12 min tabbata.

    Um, my math skills and recording stink. I did 135 4 sets + 1 rep, 145 2 sets + 1 rep, 135 x 11 sets…I’m missing 2 sets, but this should add up to 5,020 lbs.

    At the gym, I came up with 5,165 I think; it’s not right. Hopefully the small whiteboard has not been erased. If anything, starting the 8th set, I did only 140#…Boo on me, I use excel all day at work. Who does addition by hand anymore (not I)?

    I miss Crossfit and will be back to it after this left shoulder heals up properly.

    Learning the form, still need to figure out how to open up the hips for the explosive part of the movement along with the shoulders. Struggling with Kipping correctly, rather do a pull-up!
