Our 6:00pm Olympic Lifting class each Wednesday is designed to provide in-depth instruction on the various squats, presses, and olympic lifts. Light weight is used throughout the class for you to learn and fine tune the basics of these movements. This class is for everyone and is HIGHLY recommended.

Today’s class will cover the Snatch.

Skill:
rope climb
1-arm kettlebell push jerk (use dumbbell if needed)

6 rounds for time:
6 one-arm kettlebell push jerk (53lb/35lb)
6 other-arm kettlebell push jerk (53lb/35lb)
3 rope climbs, 15 feet (sub 5 pullups for each rope climb, 15 pullups per round)

Scale weight as needed.  Dumbbells may be used.

Core Development:
60 abmat situps

    26:17 Rx for 4 rnds/pullups 2 rnds…rope climbs started to bother my old foot injury…and let’s be honest, I’m still getting over my fear of excessive rope climbing. :)

    still can’t climb the rope, but I think I know what I need to work on

    I have given up on trying to have nice womanly hands…I guess it’s the only allowable thing to give up on in CrossFit
